| Thanks for posting the Tone videos. That's always been a question of mine for a budding guitarist like myself. Thanks a million!

| Larry, my wife and I saw you last night at the Belcourt Theater in Nashville. We sat in the row behind your lovely family. It was a wonderful show. I have listened to your recordings for many years, but now I can add live performance to that. That was the best rendition of Happy Birthday I have ever heard. Thanks to you, TJ, and Gene for a great evening.

| Thanks for playing here in Nashville! Super show at the Belcourt with the Trio. Your son is awesome on the bass. Safel travels and good luck with the rest of your tour.

| Good day to you Mr. Carlton, i got acquainted with your music through the collection of Steely Dan albums (i own all of them) of which i am a great fan since the early eighties. via youtube i saw a lot of your live performances and i certainly hope to be able to visit one this or next year in Holland if possible. i'm not a guitar player myself (i'm more of a singer so far) but i really admire your style of music and the way in which you are able to play key songs with different arrangements all the time. my daughter of 15 has picked up the guitar and is taking lessons, perhaps i might be motivated through your music and lessons to do the same one day. wonderful sit e by the way! best wishes Albert Hoorn/Netherlands

| Hi Larry, great albums and a great website. One question: I'm in the position of buying a 1971 Gibson 335 with a trapeze tailpiece. Do you think this tailpiece influences the sound of the 335 a lot?

| I believe that your music is right up there with ropatt and you are better than most of the blues and jazz artists that i listen to.

| Great site. Every time I visit I seem to find something new, be it new music, instruction material or simply some facts I was unaware about. The TV feature is informative and very useful for all things Larry. Thank you for all the years of inspiration. I'm told that as a guitarist , I'm usually complimented " as having all the chops and being tastefulat the same time". Mr. 335 is the most influential player in my style and most of the the compliments I receive are directly related to listening and learning from Larry ober the past three decades. Thanks for all you've done for me over the years despite our never having met. Oh yes, please come to Toronto. I regret never having seen you live.

| I don't know where to start. I've seen you play a number of times over the years, once on the same stage as Chet Atkins. You aren't the fastest or the most technical I've ever seen but your voicings are some of the classiest and your playing keeps me in check. I love what you do and simply hope you outlive me. Thanks man- you're the best!
